Head Coach

Rayna Lymper

Coach Rayna rejoins the Cherry Valley Swim Team as Head Coach for the second year in a row. Rayna brings 5 years of coaching experience and 13 years of swimming experience to the team. Rayna attends Misericordia University and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Early Education (Pre K-4) and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education (K-12). During the offseason you’ll find Rayna dancing, reading, listening to music, attending concerts and live performances, and hanging with friends and family. In late August, Rayna will be working in Walt Disney World on the Disney College Program.

If Rayna could swim in any body of water in the world, it would be… The Great Salt Lake in Utah! (when it’s pink!)

Swim advice she’d give her younger self: Don’t worry about everyone else, focus on doing your best and you will succeed.


Assistant Coach

Christopher Green

Coach Chris is joining the Cherry Valley Swim Team this summer as an assistant coach. Chris brings 2 years of coaching experience and 13 years of swimming experience to the team. Chris attends Rider University and is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science with a minor in Sports Management. During the offseason you’ll find Chris at Phillies games, vacationing at Disney World, going down the shore, and attending concerts. As a youngster. Chris used to avoid the pool, needing his coaches to push him in the pool to start practice. Now he’s the one that convinces everybody else to get in!

Assistant Coach

Bryce Westervelt

Coach Bryce rejoins the Cherry Valley Swim Team as an assistant coach for the second year in a row. Bryce has been part of the swim community for 12 years and brings a lot of swimming experience and enthusiasm to the team. Bryce attends Chestnut Hill College and is pursuing a degree in Nursing. During the offseason you’ll find Bryce playing soccer and lacrosse for Chestnut Hill or hanging with family and friends. Bryce is excited for Friday pep rally’s, themed Saturday meets, and welcoming new and returning swimmers!
